SciArt in America

"Standard Model: Discoveries"
Textiles, acrylic and DMC floss on linen

SciArt in America has  a lovely article about Fermilab's art program, the Art@CMS project showing there right now and a mention of my residency with Fermilab. It's a great publication with lots of exciting art work about science.

The show closes at Fermilab at the end of the month and will be flying out to both CERN and South Florida. I'll post specifics when they are available.

Flora Lichtman's new work

Nostacoida Limacola II from

Flora Lichtman  is up to some really beautiful new animation. Flora and I actually have at least two things in common: A love of science and a fascination with the tiniest beings on the planet.

Neutrinos and Textiles

Every second, billions of solar neutrinos are flying through our bodies. Neutrinos are weekly interacting neutral particles and as part of my residency with Fermilab, I am learning more about these mysterious particles and making art about them.

I have three pieces planned out that use black organza and 18 miles of metallic embroidery floss. Stay tuned!
